Planner 5D is a digital interior and exterior designing software application. Planner 5D enables designers to create detail-oriented layouts using 2D and 3D objects, including access to over 3000 distinct items from the catalog library. Users are allowed to choose from three price points, each with various capabilities.

The free version limits access to the catalog library but gives full access to the 2D and 3D editor. The premium levels include access to the entire catalog library, the editor, but also HD screenshot support and project synchronization.

The ribbon menu by default on the left includes the room menu, windows menus, furniture, and exterior. The construction menu includes various window types, doors, columns, fences, and staircases. The rooms menu gives users access to different room shapes, and the exterior list consists of every imaginable outer object. The exterior menu includes submenus for different types of trees, garage designs, lighting options, patio furniture, and swimming pools. The menu ribbon on the right of the user interface includes the 2D and 3D viewing options, snapshot creator, floor, and measuring tools.

Planner 5D also allows users to change vantage points when viewing objects when interacting with virtual objects. Users can see objects from the left, right, inside, outside, and aerial.
